Call for Presentations

  • Opening day
  • Submission deadline

NetUK3 will take place on the 6th and 7th of July 2026 at The Brewery in London, as an in-person meeting. For more information, please see https://indico.netuk.org/e/netuk3

The Call for Presentations has been opened by The NetUK Programme Committee (PC) and we welcome all who would like to contribute to offer content for our forthcoming meeting.

NetUK helps people learn at every stage of their career. Talks help give people at the start of their career an opportunity to learn about new infrastructure technologies, forge new connections, and let more experienced people share what they have learned to an international audience. Internet veterans can also benefit from refreshing skills and learning about new innovations.

NetUK is looking for the following content formats for our next event:
* Workshops (2 hours, to be held in the morning of 6th July, prior to the main event)
* Lightning talks (10 minutes)
* Standard presentations (25 minutes)
* Panels

Proposals on any subject relevant to networking and interconnection are welcome, both technical and non-technical. Perhaps tell us about a new technology being implemented. If you’ve been working on a project, solved a problem, been involved with a regulatory issue or are thinking about a challenge, bring it to NetUK!

NetUK is all about innovation - if there's an idea that's not covered by the above, feel free to discuss with anyone at NetUK! The PC can be reached via email using pc <at> netuk dot org.

Agenda slots for the main event can be as short as 10 minutes and as long as an hour. As an in-person event, and based on audience feedback, presentations delivered by a remote speaker are discouraged, except for exceptional circumstances.

If your team has a presentation, consider having a junior team member give the presentation to boost their experience with the community.

The PC follows a rolling submissions acceptance process for NetUK3, so submitting early is strongly recommended.

Please submit proposals using the "Submit new abstract" function at https://indico.netuk.org/e/netuk3 and please upload a draft of your proposed presentation slides to assist the PC in considering your submission. Submissions without draft slides cannot be considered. There will be plenty of opportunity to update slides prior to the event. Draft slides must be submitted with the proposal before the close of the CFP on the 5th of May, however final slides must be received no later than 22nd June 2026.

For panel proposals, please include detail of the proposed speakers as well as the abstract of the panel's topics.

NOTE: Commercial or product marketing presentations are generally not accepted by the PC, these are reserved for sponsors only. Contact team <at> netuk dot org to discuss sponsorship opportunities.

NetUK is run on a not-for-profit basis and is not in a position to reimburse expenses or time for speakers at its meetings, however a free event ticket is provided for accepted speakers.
